What is a Jupiter transit?

A Jupiter transit occurs when the current position of Jupiter moves through a natal house or forms an aspect with a planet, angle or other important point in the birth chart.

Jupiter moves more slowly than the personal planets, so its transits normally describe a broader period rather than one brief daily event.

The transit may be interpreted through:

• the natal planet or point being activated;
• the aspect Jupiter forms;
• the natal house involved;
• the house through which Jupiter is moving;
• the Solar Return and wider forecasting context.

Jupiter and periods of positivity

Jupiter transits are often associated with optimism, hope, confidence and a stronger belief that improvement is possible.
